So what are ‘The Arts’?
At Pulham School children experience a range of art forms under the broad headings of
Literature – poetry, creative writing and drama
Performing Arts – music, singing, dance, drama, story telling
Visual Arts – craft, design, painting, sculpture, textiles, printmaking
Arts expressed through the use of multi-media – photography, digital arts, film.
Arts Award is an individual award that children can aim for as part of their Arts education at school. It is for those who may have an interest or particular flair in any area of the Arts or for thoses who love to take part in Arts activities. It includes two levels for primary age children, Discover and Explore. The award involves some extra work to complete an Arts Log, but it is very rewarding and can be used to further children’s experiences and achievements.
